PETER KENAGY
Trumpet - Trombone
Trumpet - Trombone
In my life as a performer, I have played in symphony orchestras, jazz bands, and in many types of chamber ensembles. As a dedicated teacher, I work to develop a strong concept of trumpet sound and style with each student, find interesting and appropriate repertoire, promote sight-reading and theory skills, and encourage performances. While concentrating on the basic fundamentals of the trumpet or trombone, my teaching style is practical, yet spontaneous, engaging and fun. I am comfortable teaching all levels in classical, jazz, modern and tradition genres, and I sincerely hope to open doors for everyone to a life filled with music.
